How participation is counted
The counting method differs by competition type:
-
π Tournaments: 1 participation = 1 tournament attended
Example: A player competing in 3 matches at the Swiss Open counts as 1 tournament participation -
π₯ Interclub, πͺ MiniLeague, β€οΈ Friendly: 1 participation = 1 match played
Example: A player playing 5 interclub matches counts as 5 interclub participations
This distinction reflects the competitive nature of tournaments (where attending is the key metric) versus regular competitions (where match frequency matters).
Data aggregation
- One entry per player per year: Each player is counted once per year in a single activity level
- Club filtering available: Filter by specific clubs to analyze club-level participation trends
- Historical view: Data tracks participation patterns from 2015 onwards
- Color coding: Each competition type uses a distinct color gradient (orange for tournaments, purple for miniligues, green for interclub, pink for friendly)
What's excluded
- β International players (non-Swiss residents)
- β Players without gender information
- β Players with zero recorded matches in the selected period
