Tournament Frequency

What it shows

This indicator shows the distribution of players by number of tournament participations. Each bar represents how many players participated in exactly N tournaments.

How to read it

• X axis: Number of tournaments a player participated in
• Y axis: Number of players with that participation count
• A typical long-tail distribution is expected: many players attend only 1-2 tournaments, while few attend 10+

Data scope

Filters:

• Year: Filter by tournament year
• Player club: Filter by the player's affiliated club
• Organizing club: Filter by the club organizing the tournament

Definition: A participation is counted when a player is registered in a tournament draw (status active, excluding walkovers). Multiple draws within the same tournament count as one participation.

Exclusions:

• International players
• PSA and Swiss Squash players
